Ok, was just wondering as some of your thoughts were not expressed very effectively for whatever reason.

Now, my next question. Would you have been fine if you had received frozen geckos if he had relinquished and shipped them?

yeah
That is what waiving the live arrival guarantee expectation means.
That's the risk, everytime.
Though I'd be surprised to get frozen geckos
since I bought only one.
People give me extra animals in shipments sometimes,
nice gifts....
I be surprised if my gecko was not alright in shipment.
Maybe I got more confidence in American Aero-space industry.
If people already getting ready to launch for Mars
I'd risk sending some time functioning biosphere units there first.
I'd rather lizard splat infecting Mars over Human splat.

How does this pertain to this thread?

How does rocketing
a biosphere full of living animals
to Mars relate?

Cause it is actually on the drawing board of viable ideas
and it makes flying a gecko seem fairly safe.

I'm kind to my animals and they thrive and reproduce.
Most my animals are for non-invasive research.
I've got my biology degree and professional certs.
I'm not cruel.

Over 40 boxes of similar animals gave been jetted here
through the upper atmosphere and in winter conditions,
CAUSE WE ARE LITERALLY FARTHER OUT IN SPACE,
this little corner of the planet now...

never a real problem
never a death

like I don't know what conditions are safe

A blue green tokay could sell for $400 to $600
and this guy wouldn't follow through
with the good deal he floated out there
$100 shipped for such a nice animal...
I'd second guess myself for that near give away too

and a bunch of these loose lip commentators,
who talk when they don't know,
sound like sheltered inner-children
who eat meat
though can't kill an animal
for it themselves

Have you ever sought mental health treatment? If not, maybe it's not a bad idea. The potential seller dodged a major bullet on this one. Good job recognizing a headache and walking away before it got ugly.

I will try to leave it at this:
amateur and unprofessional
wishy-washy shippers
can do all the business you want together.
I don't like that style
and
you don't like my jet rocketing
animals in risky conditions style....
cause life always involves some risk

I don't like doing business
that last minute falls through,
with very little explanation given.

You all do that together and be happy

We know who each other are now.

That was not the entire quote, but enough to
Jo Nathan, sorry you did not get the animals you wanted, however you DID get a refund, so you were not robbed nor scammed.

And no, your "jet rocketing animals in risky conditions style", even when life involves a bit of risk is not justification for your bad attitude toward the seller and this Bad Guy thread. You are not jet rocketing anything anywhere.

Yes, life does involve risk, you are correct. The key is to NOT take any risks that are questionable and could be regretted later. Every single person has to gauge their actions and the possible consequences of those actions.

Alex Hutchison weighed the risk and possible consequences and he chose not to risk the well-being of his animals, despite your alleged waiving of a live-arrival guarantee. Hell, your waiving a live-arrival guarantee speaks volumes in and of itself about you and how you care about your animals. Duh.

You got a full refund, he should have a clean conscience. End of discussion

Alex Hutchinson did that gecko and himself a huge favor. Alex, to me personally, this is effectively no different than a "Good Guy" thread for you. Especially after seeing it play out.

Jo Nathan Kingfisher did the entire viewing audience a Saturn-V-sized favor, although not with intention.
