Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Eli Brooks of BadAssHerps.com (Sanford, Florida) - THIEF
I inquired to one of Eli's adds for a Crested Gecko on Pangea's Forum. He gave 4 quick responses to me - 1) If I was serious because he had 3 other people interested, 2)He did not yet accept PayPal, 3) name and address, 4) shipping price. After I told him I had shipped the money order of $120 (with tracking and signature conformation) on a Monday and he never answered again.
I always attempted contact through the forum private messages so I could check for answers at work and the forum shows who has been online in the last 24 hours thus I know he recieved my messages. He also continued to post ads now saying he wanted to sell all of his Cresteds as he wanted to get out of breeding them, but still no answer. The following Friday I checked the postal tracking number again and he had finally picked it up. It's been 2 weeks since first contact and nothing.
Other buyers please be wary as he still has ads posted at least on Pangea.

I wonder why he would cheat someone out of a hundred bucks.
His myspace page says he makes over $250k...

This Eli is a crook, he is (was) part of a fake animals rescue in Sanford called save a life pet rescue (something like that) his partner is a girl named Colette (last name started with a P I think). They would go to yhe locale pound and get puppies and kittens for free by saying they were going to adopt them out but in realality they were selling them on craigs list and the news papers for hundreads on dollars. There was a big stick over this and I believe the state put a ened to it. I have heard that that they are still going to the locale petsmarts and adopting animals out?

He had been on Pangea for a long time and seemed well known. That's why I didn't ask about him first here. Just goes to show you. Only thing is, there are a lot of new people on Pangea that don't know about this site and could get conned because I can't say anything on that site.

Hopefully he will come on here and explain himself and make it right. I mean when you are a rockstar and making $250,000 a year or more this should be pretty easy to clear up.

I have dealt with Eli before, and all went well. This was about 2 years ago though and I haven't talked to him much since, just see him on the forums on and off.
Hopefully he will come and resolve this, Kita have you notified him of this thread?
