What did we find?

My daughter and I were out in the field kicking over rocks, and chasing skinks. And under one big rock, among the ring necks and huge garter snakes, was this little guy. The kid was excited enough about the ring necks she darn near peed her pants catching this guy. What would he be? Leaning towards rat snake, but not sure. Cool pattern whichever way it goes.

Im not for sure on the milk snakes in Kansas.

It did just have a good meal. haha....

The head shape is much like my corns, but not as "defined" around the "neck" area.

Its a cool little guy, didn't try and strike at all.
