Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Yeah, if you don't have clear records and everything in writing it's going to be hard to prove. I'm sorry you got ripped off! Really disappointing that people act this way...that kid needs to be very, very ashamed of himself.

good to hear! With that kind of money, it's probably a felony. You could also try and sue him in civil court. I'm sure this guy thinks this is an easy scam...it's good that you are spreading the word and creating some consequences for him. Good luck with it all!

This kid got me too. He advertised 3 female pancake tortoises. I paid, and was sent two females and a sick male that died the next day. I sent him pics, and he said I was lying. Blocked me from Facebook. Don't deal with this guy.

Being in Jacksonville myself, I wanted to look this guy up (he seemed kind of familiar but I don't go to many events) and look what I found! A FB page "owned and operated by Griphin Fletcher".
No updates since 2013, but maybe there's some info there that might help someone.

Saw him at the Hamburg PA reptile show this past Saturday (04/30/2016) for any of those interested in his where-abouts..... It appears he'll go great distances to sell these animals....
