Could the snake have developed the RI in transit due to the temperature? I don't know if its possible in such a short time, but if the temperature was as the buyer states and the snake was indeed shipped without a heat pack.....the seller could be on the hook for inadequate shipping practice contributing to the illness. With that said, the seller is clearly trying to do the right thing and the buyer is not.

Mr. Ferro.

I want to be on your side. I really do. But...

I have no clue what happened from your point of view. I just can not make out from the broken sentences and all caps what happened. You are jumping down everyone throats and throwing a fit.

Could you please, please, post what happened. I know nothing of what happened. I have no idea. So please take me through what happened step by step.

Mrs. Witmer,

I am sorry this happened. I am just trying to get Mr. Fusso a chance to explain himself.

As it currently stands, this is a warning about the buyer not the seller.

This is the FedEx tracking - time it left us and time it arrived. We took it to the store at approx. 12:30pm and it arrived the next morning at approx. 9:00am. He had to sign for it. He did not contact us at all to discuss any issues or to let us know the animal was sick.
The first time he communicated anything about this was indirectly through Paypal - at 12:15pm, 3 hours after he accepted the snake. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I would have thought that if there was any issue with the snake, he would have sent my husband an email, through Morph Market, like he had previously when arranging purchase; however, we heard nothing.

Shows how impatient he is, any REASONABLE customer would get in touch with the breeder tell them they are not satisfied and arrange to ship the animal back to get a refund, instead he filed a claim tying up the money making the situation more difficult, and than complains about it, throwing a tantrum before even giving a chance for a resolution.

That put someone like this on many people do not sell to list.

So Rick I am curious since you apparently have a vet that can work you in pretty fast (I assume you took the animal in between 8.57 and 12.15)

had to take it to the vet and spend 75 buck
could you please post a copy of the receipt with the date, amount due and results.

Additionally why would take the animal to a vet and spend $75 if you intended to return the animal immediately for a refund especially since you do not belive RI can be cured

once it gets infection theres no cure and it will contaminate your whold collection

Finally why would you chose to file a claim within 3 hours making it more difficult with the money now being tied up instead of giving them 24 hours to respond?

You would be amaze on what kind of results you can achieve by being patient, reasonable and acting like a mature individual.

Thanks for posting Jessica. You seem reasonable and caring about the issue...the OP is so far being the opposite of that. The nice thing about the BOI is that it can show both sides of the situation and more than one bad guy post has backfired on the OP when it was shown they were in the wrong.

Our status on PayPal's resolution center says it is being reviewed by a claims specialist. I wish there was a way to send this thread to them so they could see everything that is being said!

Also - he's claiming it's a $100 snake. Actually, she was hatched in 2014, and is over 900grams - black pastel. He paid $175 shipped. So, yes, $100 for the snake, but then $70 for shipping. That was us lowering the price a bit, too. Not to mention, he wanted us to ship her on Thanksgiving day and got a bit over-reactive (felt like he was pointing, but you can't always get the emotion in an email), when my husband said we would be shipping her on the following Monday - to assure a week day shipment and less in shipping charges.

I would start speaking in clear English sentences. With punctuation and spelling, you know the kind. From what I've seen nobody here can understand a word you're saying.
