Asking too much of your customers...

Maybe I'm stuck in the mode of "simple is best", but isn't this a bit much to ask??

What if I don't have a cable modem, and what if I don't want to install Internet Explorer on my computer? I guess the seller is out of luck.

I did look at the web site (on a T1, with internet explorer). The only reason a fast connection would be helpful is A: the web site is full of huge pictures, and B: it was built with Frontpage, which is notorious for adding many lines of extra code.

Would it really take that much time for them to post pics with thier ad? I wouldn't think so.

Maybe I'm impatience, but if a web page takes too much time to load I'm immediately out of there. I'd rather visit less elaborate web sites that are friendly to navigate.

Regards.

i gotta agree 1 if they cant post pictures in the ad : TURN OFF... i wont go hunting them down and i wont email asking
2. if i have to get a cable modem just to visit the site... PLEASE... i dont even think the computer i am on would run one i think it might choke her and die ( i am still on dial up) ... so if i am on a site that takes forever to load i wont wait; hey im im patient i guess

so to answer your question YES it's asking too much

Definitely. I have about a 5 second attention span when it comes to slow loading web sites. If you want to include huge pictures on your web site, thumbnail them.
