skin issues with my sav

hello i have a savannah monitor (ox) he is about a year and 2 months. hes about 24 -26 inches long. my concern is that he was perfectly fine till about two weeks ago. he has this white (milky white) patch on one of his legs. it looks like hes shedding but its only on the one spot. take a look at these pics and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a burn.
From the side angle of the photo it's not easy to see.

Would it be white? And how can that happen when his light is all the way above him.

Yes the burn would be white.
Since you didn't give any information on the animals setup you could have the wrong wattage of bulb or it may be just to low or even be a spot light that hits hit leg or another body part.

Could you post a top view of the mark and tell us what his setup is or even take a photo of that?
