Anyone have an answer for this?

Well, just out of pure curiosity, I've been thinking... What was the prehistoric ancestor of the bearded dragon? I'm sure someone knows, but i can't find anything on the web about it. Or maybe the evolutionary line from which they came from etc.

Hello

Hello,

Sorry I am not sure of the original prehistoric ancestor but I am pretty sure that the closest relative to the bearded dragon is the water dragon. I have an idea of someone to ask. If I find anything out I will let you know.
