Unhappy Traveling :/

So I want to take a gap year and I have no idea what to do about my pets!! I have a fish (beta which is pretty simple not too worried about him) and a ball python who is still young not full grown yet and i want to go travel but what do i do about her??
I don't really trust my family much to take care of her and keep her humidity up i don't even trust my own mom to take care of my fish! simplest pet ever! she didn't feed him while i was gone once because of course she is crazy and wanted him to "be hungry for when i came back" :/ it was a weekend thank god not longer.
so any suggestions? I WILL NEVER GIVE HER AWAY don't even think of commenting that

Where did you get him? Would the breeder board him for you?

Some pet stores will board animals, but I would stay away from the chain stores (PetCo, PetSmart). Try to find an independent, "Mom & Pop" store. A nice shop near me always has a lot of extra animals around Christmas, as they board fish, rabbits, and reptiles for their customers.

Another option is a pet-sitting service, such as Rover.com. Normally, the sitter will come to your house, but some will take the animals into their homes.

I don't know about fees for long-term boarding, and it may not be something you are able to do. If you were near me, I would happily watch them for you, no charge!
