This past weekend went camping with some co-workers up at Lake Oroville to do some boating, swimming and gold panning.
Didn't see much wildlife, a half dozen fence lizards, spiders, red tail hawk... but the biggest thrill was seeing a Bald Eagle! First time I've seen one in the wild, it was thrilling.
Sorry some of the pics are very blurry, he was far away and 10x digital zoom tends to blur things up.
He came in low along the lake, right by the side of our boat:
then up into the trees, we followed him down through about 3 roosting stops. Was hoping to see him go fish but alas it was not to be.
