Moldy/Fungus Egg

This egg was a roll out that the female wasn't incubating when I found the eggs roughly 2-3 days after she had laid them.

Just wanting to triple check that I should not leave this egg in the incubator and should remove it?

Thanks!

We have had eggs go bad while in the incubator and for the most part we leave them alone. Good eggs are not going to go bad so there is little risk to the other eggs. From the looks of your picture, it appears you could safely remove this one. More for your peace of mind than a risk to the other egg.

If it is that moldy in only 10 days it is a dying/dead egg. I would take it out, nothing good in my opinion can come from leaving it in there.

If you were on the tail end of incubation with a week to go, you might still give it a go, but not now. Good luck!

Thanks Robert and Douglas, I will go ahead and remove it today. The mother had laid these 5 eggs while I was away so they were laid probably around the 12th/13th and had a 3/4 day period when they weren't in the incubator. 4 of the eggs the mother was wrapped around, this one was not. Had very very faint veins to start with.

Thanks again!
