Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Charity the Peach-throat
Hey again!
Is it okay to post a link to my photobucket? I have pictures there, but I saw where links are not allowed.
Anyway, I got her basking spot to 115F and now her appetite is up better. The basking was only at 95 before and the extra heat has made a huge difference. I knew it was low, and tried different methods to raise it, finally, just got another ceramic lamp fixture with a 150W bulb. That worked.
She still loves to bask, and soak in the water dish, eats faster too.
She has become slightly more flighty with the higher temp, but I am sure she will settle when she realizes everything is the same, she just has more energy. I am also going to get my brother to help me build a custom cage. I am just not quite happy with any of the ones I have found for sale.

Yaa, I love her, but I hope she will get a bit tamer.
She is a sweetie and rarely has tried to bite me despite me handling her every day for quite a while to treat a rub on her wrist. It's looking much better so I am leaving it now. I soak her once a week and she seems to look so great afterwards!

She is digging holes everywhere. And sorry the water looks so bad, it was prefectly clear about ten minutes before! LOL. Just the topsoil getting tracked in and out.
