Journalist seeking help on Kai Xu story

My name is Ben Crair, and I'm a journalist working on a story for an American magazine about Kai Xu, a turtle trader who was arrested trying to smuggle turtles from the United States into Canada (from where he planned to send them to China). Mr. Kai used this forum frequently, and so I wanted to post to see if its members who dealt with him would speak with me. I'm looking to get a better sense of what he was like and how he operated.
