Don't try this at home ! - different live species and Corucia
Leeway Corucia Research Center (LCRC)
Section 5.1 group attitude and socialization in Corucia zebrata - Der Wickelschwanzskink mentions although it is not recommended that Corucia be kept with any other species. A circulus was kept with a Blue tongue (Tilqua gigas - underlined) They two genus species did not engage in battle with each other. They individual (s) in question keeping this not wise set -up also used hermit crabs to consume excess food and fecal matter on the floor.
On housing different skink species:
These guardians of Corucia were lucky. The SFCRC in an outdoor setting, had 5 lined skinks (Eumeces fasciatus - underlined) squeeze into an enclosure. The alpha female Corucia of the circulus attacked them and several severed tails were found.
On using different live animals as food or clean up:
One must be careful the food does not turn the tables and fed on the main party. Corucia in general, should not be given live food (at least with current information) Even if attempted, as in the case of feeding a live rat to a snake, the live food should be removed in short order if not accepted right away. Using other animals for clean up or to 'pretty' up the environment can be a bad practice as well. Consider the possibility of transmitting diseases form one type of different animal to another with no natural resistence. This is especially true of animals from completely different continents.
