Mountain Horned Dragon Hatchlings 7 weeks

The other thread was getting so long I decided to start a new one. Here are the weights for the babies at 7 weeks.
1 - 2.6 grams
1 - 2.2 grams
2 - 2.1 grams
1 - 2.0 grams - Crash
2 - 1.9 grams
1 - 1.8 grams

They moved to a new enclosure today because we're going to need the nursery tank for the next clutch...they should hatch in the next 7-10 days. I've still got them on paper towels and I added more vertical componets and got a duplicate fountain because they really love to play in the running water.

Not a great pic but such a pretty face...such soulful eyes...

Hatchlings - 8 weeks old

Here are the 8 weeks old weights -
1 - 2.5
5 - 2.2 Crash is in this group
1 - 2.1
1 - 2.0

So...everyone is at least doubled weight wise...they still seem to be so tiny!

How many can you see in this picture?

Crash and a sibling - 8 weeks

Is that nubbin above the eye a horn coming in?

Thanks for looking! Angie

2,0 - 2
2.2 - 1 Crash
2.3 - 1 Bendy
2.4 - 1

looks like more of them are showing nubbins of the horns....I can also see the spikes starting to sprout on their neck....they are so cute! Thanks for looking.....Angie

10 Week weights...
2.1 - Bendy
2.3 - 1
2.5 - 1
2.6 - 2 - Crash
2.8 - 1
3.0 - 1
3.3 - 1

Looks like Bendy has lost a bit...I’m going to have to separate him out because I don’t think he’s getting enough food. He’s been staying off to himself a lot. Jeff and I were discussing him last night when we were weighing...it kind of looks like he doesn’t have the ribcage anatomy that the others have....we have had several tail sheds and a couple have shed around the mouth. The horns are starting to get longer....this is all very cool to watch. It’s very nautical how much bulkier these guys are than the Clutch 2 that are 7-10 days old now. Angie

Weights at 3 Months and 3 wk size/3 mo size

Weights at 12 Weeks/3 months…8-19-2007
Several of these guys have shed everything except their front legs…they started at the chin and mouth, then the tail, then the back, chest and stomach, then the back legs and back feet last. Some have only shed their mouth and chin so far.

They are around 5 inches snout to tail now. These weights were prior to feeding this morning.

2 – 2.8
1 – 3.0 Bendy
1 – 3.4
1 – 3.5
1 – 3.7
1 – 3.8
1 – 3.9 Crash

Both have orange dots - Crash's dot is faded - he has not shed anything except his mouth and chin. Both are the first hatched from their clutches.

Crash at 3 months 3.9 grams 5” STL – Orange at 3 weeks 2.2 grams
