High Contrast Cuban Iguana (Cyclura nubila nubila) CB 2011
Parents (Little Tom and his female)
In the third picture I am comparing a high contrast hatchling to a normal Cuban hatchling but they are both Cubans.
Look at the striping and vivid colors.
These animals are Eating and well started.
The Parents (Little Tom and female) are High Contrast full breed Cuban iguanas.
These animals are striking very black (I actually thought about calling them Black Iguanas) they are tame.
I purchased them from Tom Crutchfield back in the mid-nineties.
One of the longest lived Cyclura Iguanas these are heavy big bodied animals.
In my opinion Cuban Iguanas are inherently the tamest of the Cyclura Iguanas. One of my Favorite with Dark Browns and Grays on their bodied and Striped with Black Chevrons and Black feet. This black pair are darker than typical Cubans with more contrasting.
These are full breed Cuban Iguanas just a darker verity these are not some mixed up crossed !
breeds.
An unusual looking Cuban, Great genetics line.
No disappointments here.
