I really dont want to get into that just yet incase I may be wrong. spam_I dont want to soil his name so to speak unitl I have my ducks in a row. spam_If I'm right I will tell all but until then, I cant out of courtesy. spam_If I'm wrong than no harm has been done.

Its just an inquiry at this point in time. spam_

But I seem to remember a post about a young man harrassing a dealer to the point of the law being involved. spam_I just cant find it in the archives to verify the names.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly.

The name doesn't ring a bell at the moment. However, I do recall the post you are referring to. Not too far back in fact. I can't recall the topic title either. Give me some time. It will come to me. It was about a younger guy harrassing and threatening the dealer. Correct?

Um, Ritchie an AOL address is going to show up as Richmond, VA as that is where the domain AOL.com is registered (contact address). But if you have secret knowledge that let me know the city of every IP I have a job for you (course you'll have to go through 20 GB of log files but that would be fun for a junior detective right? )

His IP changes because 56k users (IE AOL) do not have static IPs..there IP changes every time they connect..and dwedeking is right, its going to show Virginia even if you do a trace because it tracks it back to their headquarters every single time (Imagine your connection your in LA, it has to go through Virginia then back to your neighbor's house spam_ ) spam_But anyway, I've never traced an AOL users IP to see if it gives a definate location since it changes..but there are definately programs easily found on download.com that can trace a person's IP and give you satellite photos of the location. spam_ spam_ Don't get it trouble now kiddies. spam_

A little more on topic..that guy posts on Kingsnake.com I think..I think I saw a post of his in the python classifieds..looked like one of those shady characters typing in all caps and not leaving a name.. spam_Let me know if you need any more info - I don't mind digging up dirt every now and then. spam_

It's probably our favourite criminal, Matt Martin, at work again. Isn't it his M.O. to use a whole slew of AOL addresses?
