You actually have nothing to contact them about, as what you got was what you ordered. Typical jumping the gun. Seriously - think about it. If what you got was a legit 1 week old cricket (which I guarantee almost everyone on this site who gets crickets knows just by the picture), then why bother with the post? You can't undo it now...
Look, theres giant mealworms, why not giant crickets? I didnt know, so i used the information that they provided. Thank you Chameleon Company for the help, theyre in the garage now where its in the mid 80s.

I should have a page in my website just about crickets. Its on the "things to do" list. Don't really want to bash Crickets Direct, as I am sure they put up their pictures with the best of intentions. Many other credible cricket producers do likewise. They could be more accurate if they did as many other suppliers do, and that is also list a size expectation in 16ths of an inch with each image. For additional reference, crickets kept at 75 F will only grow about half as fast as crickets kept at 85 F. Growth rate seems to max out around 90 F. So once your crickets get into the size range you want, try to get them cooler, even down to the mid-upper 60's if you can, so that they will be a usable size for longer. Good luck.
