which room

We are picking up our new baby this weekend (he is our first bp ) I was wondering if he needs to be in a quieter room of our house or could I put him in our family room where we are at a lot of the time, we keep our corns in my daughter's room. I just want to know if they would prefer it darker and quieter more of the time or a little bit more atmosphere in the family room. Dana

Its probably a good idea to keep them in a room where there's less traffic and noise. Baby BPs can be pretty easily stressed out with too much commotion.

I have mine in my bedroom where there's as litle distraction as possible.

babies freak out more often than adults. keep him somewhere quiet that gets dark at night. snakes aren't typical pets they don't really like to socialize, for them comfortable is probably really boring for a human. Quite dark, warm and little stimulation. Don't handle it for the first week, and wait it untill it eats after that week and give it about three to four days to digest before doing any handling.
