Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.
I am wondering if there is a female to male number for breeding. I have alot of females and only 2 males how many females should they breed before they loose interest for a while? Or is there a number like 1 male to 4 females?
It completely depends upon the male. Some boys will mate with anything and everything 24/7, 365 days a year. Some boys will see a female and look the other way. I have one male who only wants to mate with citrus girls. He apparently has a "type" he likes.
But usually one male is happy to mate with as many females as you have to offer him. I generally keep one or two males for each morph I work with. Usually each boy has 1 to 4 females that he gets to be with each season.
