I'v got a question?

First let me start by saying,I live in the boondocks! I also love reptiles.Until recently I resisted the urge to venture past my turtles. The prime reason behind this is our ever present threat of power outages. This past winter we dealt without power for a few weeks off and on.Not a big deal for hibernating turtles. However,I recently acquired a baby Savannah monitor and have grown rather found of this little monster. In order to keep him healthy and happy I need to start preparing for the inevitable.I need any input I can get from members with a similar situation. What kind of inverter do you use. What type of battery will give me the most run time between charging and so on...

Winter will be here shortly and I need to have the proper frame work in place any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Mike
