crested eggs

I have 6 crested eggs, and was wondering if they will hatch at a temp. of 84 degrees? I have a incubator for other reptiles set to that...

thank you!

Crested eggs should be incubated at 7o-80 tops. I beleive 84 degrees will be way too hot and will probably kill the eggs. I incubate mine at aroubd 76 degrees and they do great!

I have a home made incubator that I made from a cooler. Crestie eggs can be incubated as low as 70

You really don't have to put crested eggs in an incubator. I have mine on a shelf in my room in a deli cup. All the eggs that have been laid so far have hatched, besides the ones still incubating. They do just fine with some fluctuations at room temperature. If you have the incubator set up at 84 degrees for a specific reason, than don't mess with it and just set your crested eggs on a shelf. Hope you have a good breeding and hatching season!
