What kind of Turtle?

This turtle was brought in at petco earlier today. My brother got it, she said it was found on the highway (I live in Oklahoma City). The thing about this turtle is that it seems not to be scared of humans which strikes me as odd, even wild caught turtles Ive seen atleast pull their head into their shells, this one doesnt. I looked around online for native turtles of oklahoma and found that it could be a 3 toed box turtle, but seeing how it has 5 toes, I crossed that off the list.

Here are some pictures.

A little help would be great!

See thats what I thought untill I looked them up. They seem to have much darker shells and I couldnt find any information of RFT's being native to Oklahoma. His hind legs have much longer claws which tell me hes either actually wild or he was let loose. I cant find any pictures of a RFT looking like this, and comparing scale patter/size/formation they dont look to be anything near a match.

Ah, 5 toed box turtle, that would make a bit more sense. I still havent found anything on them being native to OK, I think we need to do a little bit of updating.

gonna keep him? He really should be out where he was, just well away from the road. Or...build a colony and breed them and release babies.
