I just got power back last night and internet today. Thankfully no damage to house or property here in Tifton, Georgia, but there's a lot of damage in Albany and I hear Lake Seminole and Bainbridge just about got wiped off the map. From what I hear the eye wall went right over them at a category 3. I'm still waiting to hear information about the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College campus in Bainbridge, but I know Lake Seminole State Park has a ton of damage.

Glad to hear you are fine. Did you stay put or evacuate?

There is another disturbance just below Yucatan that has been upgraded to a 40% chance of getting organized into a storm.

I've been keeping my eye on that area via Ventusky. Their longterm forecasting is showing something that might blow up into a problem in that area.

Looks like they upgraded the strength of Hurricane Michael to a Category 5 level.

From the looks of things at Mexico Beach, I thought there would be little doubt about that from the beginning.
