Exclamation IN NEED OF HELP

It's Augusts 29th 2-3 days ago noticed this on myball python (image included)
Have not changed his tank design or heating pads ETC since I got him about a year ago have not had any problems tell 2-3 days ago when he had a problem shedding I thought it was a humidity problem because Calgary can become very dry at times so I added more frequent moisture to his cage , some tell me it is a thermal burn and some tell me it is scale rot , seeing that both are potential I am asking for more opinions

Because his belly scales all along his body seem like a thermal burn the end of this tail has some what scabbing like infection occurring so I'm not sure how to diagnose the problem

I would suggest a vet. But until you can find one, Neosporin works wonders! Change out his bedding to paper towels and keep them as dry as possible.

What kind of heat are you using? That looks like a burn.

If you have a heat pad is it regulated by a thermostat?

Make sure not to use the one with pain killer in it.
