Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

What do you use to clean your racks?
I was wondering, what you use to clean out your steralite bins in your racks? I was using wipe out by Zoomed. Buuut its so expensive for a tiny bottle and it doesn't last long around here
Tell me what you use, and where to get it!

I use Nolvasan to disinfect everything. You can get it at www.beanfarm.com. I got a gallon from my vet and it lasts for ever!

Reptile safe disinfectant...
Raiquee,
I have always used Virosan (Nolvasan) and I love it. It is a wonderful reptile safe disinfectant that you can use on food and water dishes, as well as for cleaning out an enclosure. It is also skin safe and I use it to wipe down our larger snakes when they get themselves messy! We use it as a wound wash in the vet clinic where I work. You can get it from ProExotics website. Here is the link: http://www.proexotics.com/supplies.html Just scroll down to Virosan. Hope this helped. If I can answer any questions, please let me know! Good luck!

I heard a lot about Virosan and i think we are going to try that. What is the correct mixing ratios for it? Does anyone know? I want to buy the gallon jug but as you can see it is still quite concentrated!
Thanks

If you go to the ProExotics link I posted, you'll find the Virosan and a link for mixing it.

The stuff from Matt is 2oz makes 1 gallon and a gallon is 128 oz so you should have enough to make 64 gallons using 2oz full strength for each diluted gallon.

I use Novalsan. I bought two 16 oz. bottles from my local feed store for $10.99 each. The correct mixing ratio according to the bottle is 3 ounces of Novalsan per gallon of water. I bought these bottles at least 2 years ago and I am only now about to finish up the first bottle and start on the second. Great stuf!
