How to heat a precision cage

The precision cages have no holes/screens on top. Would I mount a heat lamp inside? Isn't this dangerous?

I have a precision...

and it came with the incandescent light fixture. That is how I heat mine. It would also be safe to use a heat mat, heat panel or flex watt.

I woud use flexwatt. I personally dont like incan. lights inside my cages as they can get burned really really easy on those. Any UTH and thermostat should work fo ya,
