Lighting Question uvb overkill?

I have a 4'x20"x20" enclosure with double 24". Should I be using a 36"? I could put two uvb bulbs in the 24" fixture if needed. Would that be uvb overkill?

Two 24" tubes (of the correct type/brand) is plenty for your enclosure, but the bigger concern is that your BD can get close enough to the light source to get a meaningful amount of UVB. The UVB emitted by even the best tubes is not very much and if the BD cannot get within 8" or so of the tube, he still may not be getting enough UVB.

In addition to the UVB source, you should also have basking lamp to create a hot spot for basking with other, cooler areas the BD can move to to thermoregulate.
