New to fauanaclassifieds.com...here's our beardie "Rowdy"

Just found this site, and I am amazed so far. Helped this week with the purchase of a red tail boa (due to arrive tommorrow). We already posted our Ball Pythin in his "section, and wanted to post "Rowdy" in his so he wouldn't feel left out.

Oh! Rowdy is a cutie pie! He's got lots of pretty yellows in his darling little face. Kinda pudgy, too...just the way I like 'em!

Welcome to Fauna, and bring on the pics!!!

Hello

Hello,

Very nice pics of your boy!
Just a question, do you use stick on thermometers? If so, they are not accurate. You may want to invest in a digital probe or a temp gun to make sure your temps are accurate.

We use the stick ups just for a quick visual, they are usually accurate +/-5 but for more accurate readings we use a digital hydrometer and digital thermometer, also a temo gun when needed. We don't breed, so getting an "exact" temp/humidity isn't necessary, just so long as the range is there for his (and other reps) comfort. In the wild, they are exposed to fluctuating temps/humidity, so we just try to maintain the range they are comfy with.

Hello

Hello,

Great you double check the temps with a temp gun. Some of those stick ons have been known to be off by 10+ degrees. I had some a long time back that must have been really bad, but they were like 12 degrees off.
