Steven Ori - A Forgotten Realm

I purchased an advertised female Jungle Carpet Python from Steven Ori of A Forgotten Realm. The animal arrived very well packed, with the appropriate heat pack that was still active, and quite lively.

It was, unfortunately, a Coastal Carpet. To not lay all this on Steve, I did not request any photos of the animal before sending him my money. BUT, I had my money back within 15 minutes after getting off of the phone with him.

While there was an error in not requesting pictures of this animal and in species identification, the issue was resolved very fast and very well. And while I've only had her here for a day, she seems in good health with bright eyes and no scars.

I would do business with Steven Ori of A Forgotten Realm again, I'll just make sure I look at pictures first (but that goes for anyone I will do business with).

I would recommend Steve to anyone I know.

I bought two normal Burmese Pythons from Steve Ori 4yrs ago and was pleased with the whole transaction. I met him in person to purchase them since at the time he only lived a few hours away from me. I've been wanting to contact him since but have lost his contact info. Would you be so kind as to PM it to me or post it?

He has a couple ads on that other site if you do a search for "A Forgotten Realm" you will probably come across some ads of his.

Am I to understand you kept the snake as WELL as got your money back?

I'm "Fostering" the snake until he gets her sold. We chose to not put her through the stress of being shipped at least twice in one week. This way, she'll have some time in between.

But yes, he refunded my money and trusted me to hold her.

I wouldn't deal with Steve at all. I purchased 16 female ball pythons in December.and some came in with what we thought was respotory infections. Turns out to posibly be paramyoxvirus.
