Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Hot Fudge Pudding-The ULTIMATE PMS FOOD!!!
HOT FUDGE PUDDING
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix Bisquick, sugar, nuts, and milk.
Turn batter into greased 2 quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Pour water over chocolate chips.
Let stand 1 or 2 minutes until chocolate is melted, then stir until blended.
Pour over batter.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes to cool slightly.
During baking, the pudding will rise to top and sauce will form at bottom.
Invert servings on plates.
Dip sauce over each.
Serve with whipped cream (for more sauce, use more chocolate chips).
6 to 8 servings.
VERY good over coffee, butter pecan or cherry ice cream. I recommend Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia!

I tried this, since I had the stuff lying around. Gotta say that I didn't care for it. The sauce and the cake were yummy each on their own, but together it wasn't so great. Maybe I messed it up or something?

Gee-I'm sorry to hear that!
My 20 year old just made it last week, 'cause of the PMS thing...and she's a Hot Fudge Pudding Junkie!!
Some people don't like cakes when they're "wet". My Katey won't eat ice cream on the same plate with her birthday cakes...go figure.
Maybe it's an acquired taste??? I guess either you love it, or hate it-like caviar or oysters!!!
Did you try it over ice-cream?? It's sort of like a hot fudge sundae short-cake that way.
I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong! Even my 30 year old-cooking challenged daughter didn't screw it up!
Hopefully some of the other recipes I plan on posting will be more to your liking!

Now that confuses me.
Did you mean some people don't like it when the cake is served "wet", as in when its served with a topping?
Or did you mean some people don't like cakes when they are "wet", as in when they are menstruating?
I'm just trying to find out because I'm married and have three daughters and I don't need anymore trouble from any of them.

The cake wasn't wet and neither was I, Chuck.
For me it was just that they were two too different tastes to feel like they went together. The sauce part was great, it just didn't fit in with that buttery bisquick and pecans for me. I must have a sophisticated palate or something. My husband loved it though.

LOL-some people in our family have what we call "wet bread syndrome". They HATE any baked product that is damp, gushy, snotty, etc.
My mom won't eat subs with oil or mayo on them, but she'll eat an entire loaf of french bread by dipping it into pasta sauce.
My Katey won't eat cereal with milk on it, but LOVES Hot Fudge Pudding-without ice cream.
So-yeah...cake with a topping...LOL!!!
