Size difference question...?

I need some quick advice.
I got some real nice lookin leo's from our pal Xavier. He sent me a free temp sexed blizzard baby. Only 5-6 weeks old, and I am wondering if a little baby would be ok in a tank with adults.
Just 2 female adults are in the tank in question, no males...
Any advice would be great!

Hi Mike,
I was alittle concerned when I got the idea to send you that little girl as I didn't know what you had available as far as cages go. I'd not recommand you housing that little one with your adult females. Although the ones I sent you where very calm and great with others I have kept withthem in the past there no telling how they may react with such a small leo. IMO there is just too much risk involved there. Are you use a rack system or just tanks?

I do have a rack, but I need to buy appropriate bins.
Right now, the little girl is alone, and the 3 adults you sent me are all together. As soon as these guys are settled in, Ill do some tank arrangements.
Thanks

So all you have is adult sized bins? If you have enough room she would be fine in a adult sized bin for now. What sized bins you using?

All I have right now are 32qt tubs. I think they are the shirt boxes, or blanket ones. Im not positive.
Anyways, I want to make a rack, so I might just leave these the way they are for now, and get them set up when I finish.
I like seeing them though, so I may get a bigger tank, where they can all fit, and keep a spare tank for the male, and the blizzard baby.

Eeek, I definitely would keep a young baby away from the adults for now. You wouldn't want your little one getting hurt. Also, even though she is from a very reputable source, you should practice quarantine for at least a month. Why risk the health and happiness of your pets just to be hasty? Good Luck!

yeah, keep them seperate, I have a few single babies in 22X15X7 bins and they just fine in larger bins, I just put in more hides to help with the extra space.

Yeah, the baby is alone for now, until she is ready to breed (7-8months away minimum), and I have the 3 adults I ordered together, until I can get an open tank for the male to be alone. He isn't really quite old enough to breed (5months). But, they will all be properly quarintined.

Forgot to say**
It was either the male alone, and the 3 females I ordered together, or the 3 adults and the baby went together (1.2 adults).
I wasn't expecting the nice little surprise baby. That was a surprise gift from Xavier. So, it'll take a few days, but then it'll be all figured out. I think I could just put 2 females into a 32qt tub, the male into a 32qt tub, and the little girl in either a 32, or a shoebox, whichever is more appropriate...?

Hi Mike,
I think you did good for the time being, the male is diffiantly large enough to breed are the females have proven so the only issue with that is his growth effected by wanting to breed. If you have 3 32qt bins I'd keep the 2 adult girls together the male and the blizzard alone. I was keeping her and the male in seprate 15 qt bins, the adult females where in a 28 qt bin with another female of the same size.
