She has since found a new home.

Already knows "up", "down", and is very friendly.

man so sorry to hear that. i'm glad jolly III is doing well. guess holly liked being on the other side of the fence. man i miss having birds. got asthma from my cockatiel and was told i can't have birds ever. he was a sweetie too.

You wanna come play with my cockatiel??? No matter how I try, I just can't get him "hand tame". He does "wolf whistle" at me whenever I walk in the room now though, so he must love me. LOL.

Cockatiels have a fine down under their feathers. Not all birds have this. African greys and Cockatoos are others that have it as well.

I cannot be around these types or my allergies act up like crazy.

Conures, parakeets, Senegals, quakers, etc are fine. They don't have that type of feather to them.
