You know i have delt with ALOT of people and i tell everyone i deal with EVERYTHING i know about the indavidual snakes they are asking me about.
Well i had a "axanthic" ball python that i payd good money for, no papers just one good word for another.
I traded this snake to Dale"D269" over a month ago and he is now telling me that this snake is not what its suposed to be.
Well in my eyes then we both got burned on the deal and im not going to make up for it a month later!

I too had my doubts about the ball when i first got it so i took it to shows with me and asked around and everyone i talked to scratched theyr heads but all agreed that this was a axanthic so thats what i posted it as.
Now i am always willing to be fair and fix my mistakes but if your going to be a jerk a month AFTER the fact your on your own!
I am willing to work something out with Dale as i would ANYONE but not with a mouth and attitude like that!
Thanks everyone!
Jason

I would think if there is a problem he might have noticed it alot sooner then a month.
If the guy has eyes it would not take that long to make a decision about what the ball python morph was.
Me thinks he has some other sort of issues going on and is using the ball to make excuses for it.
Conclusion is ..if problem is because he is dissatisfied over the looks of the ball his time was up a long time ago.

Jason,

I would say that one would need to be up front about not having the full story about the snake he is offering for sale (no papers, etc), and I would have listed it as an "axanthic possible" until I was certain about what I had.

However, the fact that the person to whom you sold this animal has waited a month before saying anything to you about it key here.  One month is too long to wait to complain just because you're upset about the animal's looks, and it is too short to say that you've tested it's ability to pass on axanthism through breeding trials.

So, in this particular situation, I would say that you owe no compensation whatsoever. &nbsp; That being said, I would urge you to be as absolutely clear in your advertisements as you can in the future. &nbsp;I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but if that animal looks axanthic to "several people" say that in the ad and leave it at that. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
