I haven't checked; but I'm guessing people can remove their auctions via the classifieds panel. I would think people would want to wait until they receive payment, and maybe until they ship, to remove them.

The sellers running the auctions are responsible for the management of their auctions. As I have mentioned before, if the auctions prove to be more of a burden to myself and the mods than it is worth, then then will go away. This is a trial period on the whole idea here.

Sorry if the question was worded weird, I was asking if you could put the option to make the auction as ended. This is so people could keep the auction up for a while, but mark it as ended until payment/contact was made. Just a prefix as "Auction Ended" or something similar.

OK, I can see where that might be benficial. So I've implemented that option for a prefix of the auctions. I switched the color scheme a bit, however, since I felt RED would be better served indicating the ended auctions.

Thanks.

Glad to help, and thank you.

BTW, editing and deleting of posts in the auction section have been disabled. I don't think an auction atmosphere lends itself well to having that kind of freedom with words typed neither starting nor bidding on an auction. To much temptation to change things after the fact, I believe.

Perfect

That sounds like a perfect solution. A little tweak without making more work for the moderators. The seller/lister is still responsible for updating their auction status and this gives them a tool to accomplish that.
Can't wait until my eggs start hatching so I can use the new auctions.
Thank you,
John

If the ability to edit has been removed, it would seem that the ability to change the prefix (to indicate that the auction has ended) would be gone as well...unless there is something I'm missing.
