$400 is a very fair price.

Price is fair indeed for all the time, food, and housing you put into this animal...assuming he is in fact tame hehe

Tame Nile's are rare and the look of the animal is one of my favorites. I'd easily pay $400 or more for that animal. I'm on the east coast though.
Nile's aren't worth much because of their notorious disposition, to have a tame one is something rare and you have to weigh that value as a seller and as a buyer imo.
Someone will want this one as a pet I'm sure-no way you should let it go for under your asking price.
