Since publishing an article on maternally incubating eggs, I have had a lot of people ask, “Do they eat during the course of incubation?”
As you can see in the video below, yes they do eat! This is the second year in a row that this particular female has maternally incubated her eggs! Like last year, she had 8 eggs again and needless to say, but I am very excited about this clutch. They are about a month old at this point and are looking good!
