Calico Sunbeam Snakes

Awesome ground level project!! I received these in a Indo shipment back in Nov 08. They are fully acclimated and feeding on mice.. I planned on keeping them but need the funds to pay for a ongoing project. Price for the pair is $1500 or best offer...

Thanks for looking

Thank you for the generous comments Kelly!!!
They are some awesome snakes and will be a great breeding project for someone.. My interest lay in other areas, and opportunity has knocked so I am looking for $$ to fund another project.

How are the leopard geckos going?

Take care

These are amazing! Do you have more pictures? Are these fairly easy to breed? I have always thought they were interesting, but never looked into them further. Thanks.

I have a few more pics and can take more if you are seriously interested. They are a very neat species of snake and once aclimated seem to do very well...I saw breeding behavior upon receiving the snakes in Nov...they were placed in a large cage together and the male(Calico) was trying to breed every female(2) in the cage. The extra female did not aclimate well and was lost in the first few weeks, the remaining two are thriving in captivity. They remind me of sand boas or calibar pythons as there care is similar as well as there temperment and behavior.

I have not witnessed any more breeding, it happened in Nov last year.. They have been feeding well and are established, kind of curious to see what happens this year..
The Sunbeams are not my primary focus, I have a ton of other projects in work Boas, BAll, Tegus, Geckos, Ect..these are keeping me very busy this year.. You will probably see them posted upon kingsnake in the next few weeks, just way to much going on and I need the space.

Thanks for keeping the project in mind, they are cool!!!
If I had more females...humm
Better not I need the space!!!

Xenopeltis is difficult to manage because they dehydrate easily. Hence, sell quickly! Being a wet soil dweller related to Loxocemus, it's not surprizing to see white blotching. Where did they originate--location?

They have been in my care since Nov 08, they are doing very well...breeding them is proving to be a bit tough.. They were imported by me in Nov last year, they came from Indo.
