Best Practices for Supplements

Hi All,

I have been looking for a good post on reptile supplements, specifically for snakes, and haven't found one, so I thought maybe it was a good time to ask what the general consensus is for adding vitamins and minerals to reptile diets and which brands are the favorites. I believe enough calcium is absorbed from prey items, but have been torn on the addition of suppliments. I have breeding pairs of Irian Jaya Pythons, Lavender Corns, and Het for Hypo Rainbow Boas, and I have not been offering suppliments. They all appear to be very heathy, but I am concerned I may not be doing enough for them. As always I appreciate your responses and expertise.

Doesn't anyone add vitamins and minerals?

Im not one to answer but I feel bad that no one has replied.

I only have 1 snake, a baby ball python and all I feed him is his hoppers.
