The temp that Craig suggests should be fine (78). All they need is a 10 degree drop from the norm to make them think seasons are changing. I have all of mine on timers and they run normal temps for 12 hours during the day then at night the heat is shut off and they are lowered to room temp for 12 hours. 8am to 8pm (92 degree hot spot) 8pm to 8am (room temp, heat off). In November I will lower their day time hot spot and ambient air temp a couple degrees, and leave it their till Febuary. Mid Feb temps will be back to normal. Hope this helps.
