Those things always look more like uros than beardies to me. Like the scaleless snakes they have outrageous color and cool patterns, but are missing everything that makes a beardie cool..... ya' know, like the beard.

I just got my very first Silkie from Josh Dovenbarger (from lll reptile) I am nervous because he or she is only 4 wks old. I have had small babies like this but not a Silkie. I want to put a pic on her but I dont know how to. Is there any thing I need to know about Silkie care? She is shedding. They told me to put shed ease on her and I have. Please tell me any info I may need for this Silkie I never thought I would get one. I have been wanting one but affraid to actually get one now I have one.

Thanks, look forward to seeing more silk babies, distance dose make it difficult to use different bloodlines and morphs.

Hey Corky I see your baby pic. That baby is so cute. Can you tell if it is a boy or girl yet? I wish I could see the other pics you posted. How old is your baby in the pic? It has alot more color than mine. But I got a really good deal on mine. Actually an unbelievable deal. I just wish I had a bright colored one. But mine is very cute and she looks alot more yellow in person. Its hard to get a good pic with a cell phone. Anyway good job on your baby she or he is very cute. Alot of people don't like silkbacks for some reason. I work for a reptile vet I can't wait to show him and see what he says.

Hey Melissa, the silk was just a few days old in that picture, we have glanced at the sex's and we think we have an even number of males and females, but im not sure witch sex that one is, we are very excited to see them after there first shed, im sure with time your little girl will get more color, either way im sure you will enjoy her and i bet the vet will love her.
