Enclosure for Sav?

Hello all,
I'm just trying to get some general information.
I'm not new to the reptile scene but will be new to the monitor lizard scene.

I have a retired aquarium (55g) that I used to use for my Red Tail Boa that has since passed r.i.p.

The dimensions are 48"x12"x24" (LxDxH)
if I remember correctly.

My question is, is this suitable for a baby Savannah Monitor until I can build my custom enclosure?

I plan on building a 48x24x24 enclosure in the future, but just curious if people think my current tank would be suitable for a baby-juvie sav?

I plan on buying all new equipment obviously, heating, lights, substrate, the works.

Just want people's input.
Thanks

Should be fine for the first couple of months or so... Just make sure you give your baby sav a lot of digging space they love that... My adult male has a 3 foot deep digging box and another 3 foot on top to climb around in.. They LOVE to have space to move and run around..
