Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Joe, I'll start saying that I have never had a bad review here and this situation should be something simple and it's getting out of control!
I have never stopped answering or ignoring any of your text messages or email. Usually the way reputable breeders handle this is by talking and resolving it with the breeder first!
We talked and texted in multiple occasions and I don't think I was ignoring you or trying to get out of the situation, even though I shared all the information that I had with me.
On another note, Lucille, I don't know you and I don't think we have done any business together, but I noticed that you mentioned my cousin (Orlando Diaz) and his clinic (Lake Howell Animal Clinic). Don't know the reason behind it, but neither him or the clinic were affiliated or were a subject in this transaction. I'll appreciate it if you remove that from the thread or clarify your reasoning behind it.
Like I said, very open to discussion or moving forward with the matter, especially if the buyer contacts me directly.
1. Ptyas dhumnades - the snake was sold in perfect condition and as per our phone conversation, I did ship to you the one with the most meals (Pinkies). When I asked you if you have worked with the species before, you said No! Well as you know now, they are not your typical colubrid... Lots of factors could be taken into consideration; husbandry, STRESS, humidity, amount of meals (since the metabolism isn't the same as other colubrids) and the list goes on. I have learned with these snakes that variety of diet when they are young is important, but we as keepers (Me included) want whatever is easier or convenient for us!
2. On the Frenatum - I told you all the information that I had at the moment, I did not produce them and I was very clear that I acquired them in a trade on a Repticon show in Orlando. I'm sorry that they developed those bumps. This is another species that tends to get very stressed with handling so I didn't go to extremes to check it so the bumps could have been there and I missed them, or they could have developed under your care. I don't know for sure but that is irrelevant now.
You have my phone number, if you want to discuss this further and see if we can fix the situation between us two please give me a call in the afternoon (after 5 PM).
Joel

Joe, that excuse for not doing what you ought to do is just pathetic. A friend or two who are not blocked can help with communications, and you don't even need to communicate with him to sent him a PayPal refund.

First of all, why are you using someone else's account to post? Accounts are free here. It is important to know who is actually posting.
Second, I got Dr. Diaz name from YOUR website where the two of you are listed as what appears to be a partnership.

Lucille, the reason is because that is our original account for Legacy Reptiles, even thought Dr. Diaz is not affiliated with Legacy we do have a family friend relationship. I’ll change my account once we resolve this issue.
Thanks

I think Dr. Diaz may have some liability here. You are shown as partners, and someone could easily make a case that they made a purchase because they thought it would be overseen by a vet. I think you should change your site page and your account now.

Sorry but it wasn't meant to be an excuse I just didn't want to harass the guy if he blocked me, that means he didnt want to be contacted. Certain things must be communicated to refund in this matter, do I give him a full refund or a partial, and for what amount? etc
Well Joel sorry man but you sold some WC snakes as CB to me. With your experience you should've known that. My reputation is ruined now not because of your fault but you did tell me on that text that the bumps were nothing to worry about and I sold them to Rob misrepresented because of that. I'm was harassed by the community on facebook because of those animals.
You have never stopped sending me text messages but I kept receiving the run around from you in the lasts texts that you had sent. It felt like I was never going to get any help and that you were talking to Rob about it left out of the equation.
Joel, thank you for your reply, I will contact you directly about this.
1. Ptyas dhumnades - the snake was sold in perfect condition (then why does it have the kink?
When I asked you if you have worked with the species before, you said No!
That's correct
Well as you know now, they are not your typical colubrid... Lots of factors could be taken into consideration; husbandry, STRESS, humidity, amount of meals (since the metabolism isn't the same as other colubrids) and the list goes on.
You labeled them as CB do you have proof that they were CB?

Those lumps didn't develop under my care, it shows in the text that you knew about them before selling them to me and had admitted to that..

And if you solve the issue between the two of you, the rest of us will still think that Joel Diaz sells lumpy snakes....

Send him a full refund, let him keep the snakes. You should have known that lumpy snakes had something going on, and should have disclosed the lumps to your buyer. If you are trying to rehabilitate your reputation, be generous about this refund, and be excruciatingly honest and above board from now on. Now is not the time to save a few pennies.
Also, you are welcome to talk to your seller but if you are trying to clean up your rep you need to at least disclose the terms of his settlement with you. If you do not do that, you will be tainted by a secret deal with someone who has everything to gain by later making up exculpative stories about what y'all talked about. Really, it would be best to get it done in writing, here.
