Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

New Jungle boy
Fiance got me a new camera for the holidays, yay! Can you tell I am happy?
With my Xmas bonus from work I treated myself and got this red group jungle male, he just shed and was looking pretty handsome so I put the new camera to work:
too bad this was out of focus, would have been a neat shot.
Over the holiday weekend my fiance helped me build this new juvinline boa rack, simple easy design and construction.
And lastly... the one pair of boas I put together this season seem to be going strong and steady.
Whoo!
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! Happy (early) New Years to everybody!

Thanks! Those square saddles with the holes were one of the final selling points for me, I think they are really neat looking. Can you imagine a snake with all the saddles like that? I sure can! hee!

Yup, he's the one that Ben was selling on KS. Lucky for me Ben was local so it all worked out wonderfully (any time I can save on shipping is a plus!). This baby was from a red group hypo female and jungle male, produced by Matt Crabe.

Nice looking boy April! Love the look of him.
After seeing those pictures, I can see why I keep getting an email from this kid asking if this one is a Jungle...
I mean, I can "sorta" see similarities, but not enough to keep emailing me over after I done said no.
Good looking boy, so who you got planned for him?

some people just don't want to give up! Tell him 'well, his ancestors came from a jungle...' haha

Haven't figured that out quite yet. Next year if he's willing I'll either pair him up with my big '98 albino girl for some jungle hets OR pair him with Zahara if she is ready (she's the girl being bred above by the albino male).
This is my favorite pic of Zah, she has the similar 'hole in the middle' saddles as the jungle so it might make for an interesting pairing:
Once this hypo harli girl is mature she's deff. got a date with this boy!
I can't wait to see some jungle harlequins, it's been a dream of mine to cross those and see how the two traits interact. (I'd also love to do junglexabby or harlixabby). So many boas, so little time. heh
Thanks for the nice comments!

Zahara and that hypo harli are both pretty sweet animals. You can't help but love what a nice clean Boa brings out in color.
Good luck which ever way you go. I think they both would work great, but if a Jungle Harli is what you been dreamin of, I say go for the dream.

Thanks, she's my favorite boa, can you believe I got her as a rescue through craigslist for $50 back in 2002? Listed as a salmon and at that price I had to go check it out, realized she wasn't a salmon of course but just had to have her. score!
