If someone could tell me how to upload photos, I'll upload the entire conversation.

Tballs...I don't know how YOU do business, but in the normal world, it takes TWO people to make an agreement. You keep saying YOU accepted the deal. I'm sorry you didn't read the ad, and that you made a false assumption...but at NO time did I EVER say that we had a confirmed deal.

I am absolutely looking for not only the right price, but the right home...so I do have to consider other offers. I would hope as a fellow animal and reptile owner you could understand that, and take the high road with my apology for the misunderstanding.

Until money is sent, a purchase agreement has not been reached. It does not appear she took the "highest offer" unless you have proof? If you feel your emails are so telling, do post them. That said, your claims hold no water on this end. Sorry

I am in fact taking a lower offer, as this person was a better fit. Clearly I made the right choice, with the way that the OP has reacted. I'm going to keep trying to upload the conversation...so please ignore any blank posts.

This post wasn't on but for a minute before you friend notified you. Your friend Katie. No matter what your friends say I'm positive this wasn't the manner to conduct business! At no point did I discredit her animals or timely responses! Just the fact she never notified me in the emails that it was an auction based sale, nor give me an opportunity to counter offer!

Tballs - I was not the one that notified her. I came on to do a name search, and recognized Alyy's name. It is because she has been in the same reptile circles as myself for years.

No no. Let me explain how reptile sales work. We don't have to tell you we're considering other offers, or what those offers are. If a better home is found, or a better offer given, we're not going to accept a lower offer just because you emailed first. This isn't first come first serve. Nothing is concrete until you send a deposit. IF you had given her a deposit for the blueys that would be another matter. But you didn't.

You are also clearly ignoring the part where she accepted a LOWER offer based on a qualified home. I am the same way. I would rather GIVE an animal away to the right home, than make money on the wrong home.

Don't worry forum, I wont be responding all night, I simply want to respond to each of Tballs points.

I wanted to speak over the phone before payment, She said " I'll call tonight" After several hours passed the time she said she would call, she said "I'll call tomorrow". I agreed, then 10 mins. Later I received an email saying she had another offer! WTF. I explained to her I didn't know this was an auction? Nevertheless I would not ever do business with them! Beware!
First of all, if the link works and you can all see them...The FIRST email I got from Terry Schaffner (Tball), was a total of SEVEN HOURS AGO. Hardly HOURS. I also updated you that I couldn't call until tomorrow. You agreed, as can be seen in the email, and said that was fine, I could talk to your partner.

The above quote is from your own words in an earlier post ON THIS THREAD. You said I took HOURS to respond, and intimated that I was purposely being untimely about calling.

I NEVER TOLD YOU IT WAS AN AUCTION BECAUSE ITS NOT AN AUCTION! I've gotten offers all over the board. I am selling these two because I want to see this project in the hands of someone who will continue working it, and like I TOLD YOU, I have to do the best for my animals, both the ones being rehomed and the ones I still have to care for, my special needs care.
