~One of the best things to do for dragons is give them , at least, a weekly warm bath. spam_~Emphasis on WARM!~ It helps with shedding, hydration, evacuation and most of them just plain enjoy it! spam_(Although they do not always seem to at first)
~ They will puff up with air, (for flotation, I assume,) but this goes back down after they have been out of the water for awhile. When they first experience a bath, some dragons will flail and struggle, as if terrified. spam_They normally get used to the water after awhile.
~I make it a point to scoop out their feces as soon as possible after they do it. That is a very important area. Dragons will run through the stuff picking up the odor and bacteria! spam_It is much safer for them and easier to keep them from contracting diseases if the tank is kept clean.
~ I do not usually use any kind of soap. spam_If I really feel the need to use something to cleanse them, I keep a supply of baby shampoo on hand. spam_A good rinsing off is necessary in that case.
~ If your dragons are having any difficulty with evacuation, a warm bath is always my first suggestion, followed by gentle tummy massaging. spam_Usually, the warm water will take care of it.
