Blackheads

Got a pair of adult blackheads as part of my new collection. These guys are BIG, very cool in person. I've heard that these are difficult to breed but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. It's probably too late to do anything with them this year, but next year we'll see how things go.

The girl is a little jumpy but the boy is super curious. I'm sure the girl will calm down too with a little more interaction.

Well yesterday I opened the male's tub and he crawled right out onto my shoulders. Can't believe I'm just now getting these, between the blackheads and the indigos I don't know what I've been doing with my life.

They're super cool, definitely in my top 5 favorite species right now. I'm working with a lot of different snakes but retics, indigos, and blackheads are miles ahead as far as personality goes.

Congrats man they are amazing animals. On the subject of indigos they seem to be quickly growing in popularity. I need to figure out what the laws are in Maryland.
