When I saw this thread earlier, I knew there had to be more to it then the OP was telling.
I almost said so, and was going to re-post feedback from my recent positive trade experience with Angelo.
Then I decided to inform Angelo about this thread, and let the whole story unfold before posting anything.

Well, I think it is obvious what is going on here.

Unfortunately, this is another BOI thread that in all fairness should be deleted, hidden, or at the very least, renamed.
However, due to liability issues, it will remain here "forever," and many people will never look beyond the title.

Having bred carpets for a number of years, I'll say that it can be difficult to guesstimate length based on pics...or even a quick look at a coiled subadult. I sold a female JC/D cross a couple years ago, and I initially guessed her length at a little over 2.5 ft....but when I took her out of her tub, and let her stretch out, she made it just about all the way across my 4 ft cages.
If one isn't used to the species, it is easy to look at the stated length and think they are ready to breed; but it doesn't work that way. They get long and thin before they start filling out - or, at least they should, unless they are grossly overfed. I would recommend always getting an age, and pics with a good size reference.

That is also, in no way, shape or form, a pied ball

OP.... you should be ashamed.. I shudder to think that those gorgeous carpets might end up getting sent back to you. Poor babies.... seriously hoping the outcome is better for the snakes' sakes!

I'd be very upset Angelo and I don't think it would hurt your rep at all to stick having him send you a label. You should not be out a dime due to this horrible transaction.

Joe, you are probably right, but i don't have the time for 2 rescues...

Poor carpets. The male looks terrible but the female doesn't look that bad. If I had the time or the money, I would rescue them if you don't want them but sadly I do not. How could anyone do that to their snakes? Ugh, people pi%% me off with the way they treat their animals. I also don't think that the male is 88% diamond either, if it is than I don't see it.

Just my opinion. Hopefully everything gets worked out and the carpets will be ok.

Wow, the stuck shed on that male looks awful...poor thing. Also, neither one is anywhere near breedable size. OP, you should be ashamed- posting a ranting, profanity-filled BOI thread when YOU are, in fact, the Bad Guy. The male also doesn't look to be a high % diamond, he looks to me to be mainly coastal.

Acorsi, stick to your guns....don't send that guy your animals, as he obviously doesn't know how to care for them properly, or doesn't care.
