As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

LICENSE FREE RAPTORS
Does any one know of any raptors that do not require special license to own?
I currently own two eagle owls and they require no permit other than the captive bred paper work and a closed band. at least that is the info i recieved. I have been looking for other raptor with the same requirements.

As far as I was made aware, ALL birds of prey, including owls required permits. I would contact Fish and Game of your state, or the Federal wildlife folks.
I was told this from someone who has several hawks, owls, and eagles, and they do educational displays. Hope it helps.
If there is a local falconry club, they could possibly steer you to currant information.

you are correct that birds of prey do require license amongst other requirements
how ever non native species such as th eagle owl do not because they were c.b.
here in the states I throughly investigated the requirements of obtaining a eagle owl legally and they told me it had nothing to do with there dept. due to it not being native to our country. I am inquiring if there are other raptors with the same situation.
