American Toad, Or Fowlers Toad? You tell me :)

I found this guy under one of my fathers bonsai plant pots.
Dont really know what caused me to move the pot, but i just felt like it i suppose and there he was, all fat and cute.

He didnt even put up a fuss when i picked him up, or pee either, which was pretty surprising Pretty docile little guy, and didnt mind me messing with him to get a few photos inside. Enjoy him!

Thumbs up

An easy way to tell the difference between the American toad and the Fowlers is to count the warts in the spots.

Fowlers will have 3-5 warts per spot.

Bufo Americanus only has 1-2 warts per spot.

Hope this helps.

Quick Alicia, go back in time three months and start using a redundant and less accurate method to determine the species than the one you were already given.
